You need to contact an attorney.
Get her on tape telling you that the state took everything then hire a P.I. to reveal that she is renting his house out and keeping the money.
Im sure a judge will make her split everything with you especially since she lied and is keeping everything for herself.

Check the county court house were your father lived. All will, probabte, etc., are filed there. It is possible he did not leave a will at all. If that is the case and your sister is renting the house you can do the following. (1) Check with the town or city hall where the house (assessor's office) is located to see who's name is on the property. (2) If your sister's name is on the property, get a lawyer. (3) If your father's name is on the property at the Assessor's office then your sister never probated the house. and you should talk with your lawer.
If it turns out her name is on the property...she did cheat you.
If your fatther's name is still on the property...chances are you own half of it. In either case, if she is renting the house and collecting money half of the rental money is yours. She could possibly be putting all the rental fees back into the house for renovations, etc. If that is so she needs to include you in on the decision.Soemtimes people done file wills, it is costly. But if you are disabled I am sure your father leave something tp you.
I have a disabled son and my priorty is life is to see to it that my son is cared for when I pass on.
In any event, you sister should have discussed these things with you at the time your father died. It was wrong of her not to whether you are disabled or not. It is the only proper thing to do.
I wish you well and good hunting and that you find you were left with knowing your father looked after you.
Best of Luck.....

if your father died without a will, then it is called "intestate". You need to contact an attorney, especially if you are disabled. There are programs out there to help you. If you have a conservator, then you should have your conservator go with you to the attorney's office. If you father died with a will, then you would have been contacted by another attorney, as nothing can be done without all of the heirs being contacted. Good luck.

Get your self a lawyer, if you cannot afford one, they have lawyers, that will help the disabled, you do not have to tell your sister anything. Don"t worry about her being upset with you, to want to know what your rights are. I hope you get this resolved.
