Ok to be shy or not?!
if that´s your problem, JUST BE THE WAY YOU REALLY ARE! why not???!!!
If people cares for you THEY WILL ACCEPT YOU, if not, means they don´t really care.

NEVER PRETEND TO BE DIFFERENT THAN YOU REALLY ARE, JUST BE YOURSELF!

Hi..
It is "OK", as long that it is not bother, you...
If it does...........
>>>
Get a piece of paper, and write down the things that make you shy in those situations... You will find that there really isn't that many reasons to be shy....
>>>
The problem may stem... from either self esteem, to communication issues... But the more your open to communication... the less shy you will become... You first have to understand that everyone is unique and diverse in their own way..."And so are you"!
>>>
What makes you unique and diverse, what talents and ability's make you stand out and special.... Focus on these things, and people will be more open to learn more about you... Because everyone is very curious about everyone... ;D
>>>
Thanks, for the question.. and good luck!! ;)

My regards!

Yes, but only to a certain degree. If it/your shyness has hindered you like say socializing with other people or being able to make new friends, than I'd say you have a problem. Other wise, no it's ok to be a little shy.

Its perfectly fine and normal if you don't tack it to the limit. The only reason that you are shy is in basic sicology. There is a saying that i use and i think you need it more than i do, The worst thing he or she could say is no. The best thing is he or she could say yes! so be happy and try to build your confidence up.

As much as it is okay "to be," it is definitely okay to be shy. If it bothers you that you're shy, then it isn't okay with you and you might want to work on being more self-assured and perhaps a bit more outgoing. But that's your choice and nobody should tell you how to be.

I used to be REALLY shy but thanks to my Husband I broke that habit. It's not a crime and many people are, BUT it has it's disadvantages because people tend to take advantage of that and sometimes walk all over you. And it could be seen as a sign of low self-esteem and insecurity. It's not a horrible trait but not ok either in my opinion!

I'm shy. Try reading "The Introvert Advantage". It'll make you feel better. But only read like the first half, the last part is really self-helpy and dumb.

Yes, it's normal. I was shy when I was younger. Now I'm completely the opposite.

I always say when you’re young shy is cute the same behavior as you get older is considered conceded. I'm not conceded I've just never out grown my shyness

if you're shy and don't talk much at first I guarantee you, you'll attract more people towards you than an idiot talking about anything all the time, so sad...so yes, it's ok and sometimes even better..

Sure. My fiance is shy and its one of my most favorite things about him. I know when he has something to say it's important. Other people babble so much (like me) that you tend to tune them out for a while.

It may be harder to meet girls, but my fiance found the right one. :)
