I wrecked a 2003 Ford Taurus in May of 2005. They body damage estimate was over $9000.... I don't wanna go there if ya know what I mean! I know that a Mitsubishi Eclipse has the same engine and drive train, but is it really compatable with that engine? Insurance didn't cover my new car, and I've still got $6000 left on it. It's still sitting in my yard, what should I do?

I know a ford areostar and windstar has those engines. Or just buy a taurus with a 3.8L and put the 3.0L in it. Since the 3.8 is known to eat headgaskets and they but put out 140HP. sometimes the 3.8L is 190HP
