I asked a similar question and all I got was answer about taxes. So I'll take a shot at it:
The good life is one in which we throw off our crutches and break free of an existence in which life repeats itself infinitely with no variation or change whatsoever. It's a life in which we strive to be more than human, to strive for ideals which are unattainable and to get rid of the drive for satisfaction.

Generally speaking, it means material wealth, the respect of others, friends and loves.
On a personal level, it is having whatever makes you happy. Whatever floats your boat. Whatever bakes your cake. Whatever tightens your bolts (just made up that last one).
