Yes, But if you are emotionally disconnected to your spouse you have to look at the need for the emotional affair. What helped me out was doing a time line of the marriage and being honest with yourself and other things will glide you on other decisions whether to work on the marriage or to take steps to leave it. There are absolutely emotional affairs, and they are every bit as much cheating as is a physical one. If you are with someone else in any sense, its cheating!

Absolutely. Anything that is mental, emotional, or physical, and it doesnt involve your spouse is an affair.

Yes, emotional intimacy to someone other than your wife is cheating. Most would agree that it's not quite as bad as actually sleeping with someone else, but it can be just as destructive to your relationship.

Yes but they rarely remain emotional they almost ALWAYS turn physical.
