how do I check my mail from a different e-mail account?

I have an sbc e-mail account and I dont know how to get my mail from it ( I'm new to the computer)

You can check your mail by enter www.mail.yahoo.com. Once the display window is open for userid/password, you can enter on the userid portion your userid@sbcglobal.net and then enter your password. This should bring up your mailbox for you.
