Im talking about like movies, music, people, the country. Although there have been some great breathtaking movies since the turn of the century (spiderman, starwars, LOTR, Matrix etc.) I think the majority of them are just thrown together to make some money. A lot of movies have just been remakes of old movies. And music, i think music sucks. I hardly ever buy a new CD. MTV is all rap and R/B bullcrap and then rock music is so generic right now. There are catchy songs but they lack a soul to them. They are songs you will never remember 10-15 years from now like u remember Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Metallica, G.N.R etc. songs. The great majority of my CD's are from the 70's- early 90's grunge era. It just seems everything lacks creativity and movies, music, videogames are just thrown together now to make a quick buck. Im 26 now, maybe I am just getting old and everything is geared to a new generation. I mean what music I like my parents think it stinks. What do you think?

Agreed on the music and movies sucking more and more now. Everything else (people, country, etc) is kinda related to politics and i try to stay out of those discussions on here

I disagree on the music very strongly. I like some old. But I do love Kelly, Aly and Aj, Skye Sweetnam etc. It is summer, it is usually the time for rap and all that. I dunno about that. I don't care for those bands that you U listed though. Yes, u. And yes, most kids don't listen to what their parents listen to. I did as a child but I listen to pop music now and they don't really. Nothing wrong w it not being a bit time hit still 15 years from now. The living is in the now. Have a little FUN. Loosen up. I see your typical male as far as movies go. I like some special effects. I disagree, there's some good movies. I agree w the girl that said rap is all sexual now though. times have changed and will continue to change. it's just something we all have to live with
I agree. I disagree w the person dissing country music.

I think everything is very different from what it was and Thank all thats good for it. Imagine if we had to stay in any one era forever. Sappy Seventies or the Disco Nasty or Grunge all had their highs and lows. Old tech like video and movies can be improved but nothing new. I'm afraid you're getting caught in the same trap your parents did, focusing on what you know and not really getting used to the new. Listen to the new stuff exclusivly for 1 month and you will change your mind. Unless you listen to country and then you will hear the same 20 songs over and over from 1995.

Vacuums suck. Hair driers blow.

I've got socks older than you. Most of what you like I can't stand (and the new stuff is worse). The real good stuff is from the Big Band and Crooner era, 1930s to 1960s. Give me a good Fats Waller, Crosby, Sinatra, Holiday or Dorsey any day. Or early Rock: Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bobby Darin, Diana Ross.

i would not circulate as far as to declare he "sucked," however the Tarantino product has been dumbing down exceedingly lots each and every action picture in view that "Pulp." Edit out each and all the crap from the 1st "Kill bill" and combine it with maximum of "Kill bill 2," and that should have been an rather advantageous action picture. Too undesirable he's in simple terms too busy twiddling along with his action picture toys and attempting to make a speedy dollar.
