Hundreds of people vandalise Wikipedia every day. Without knowing which page you are referring to, I can't answer your question. However, if you find vandalism, you can revert it by clicking the history tab on the article and saving an older version of the page. You can also report vandalism to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:AIV

It's an open forum--anyone can vandalize it just by purposely posting incorrect information. I recommend you don't do it though. If you do, you will only look like a fool and wikipedia may ban your ip from returning to their site.
