Addicted, I'm not sure if you'd call it addiction, because I can't imagine a person going through withdrawals from not having it...
But to be really into it, sure, why not. It's not only natural, but it can be healthy. For alot of people, it's a big stress reliever... among a ton of other benefits that you can get from it. For example, it burns calories... it's an instant cure for mild depression... the more you have, the more pheromones your body releases... it can relieve a headache.. etc...
But then again, too much of anything is never good also... : )

Are you sure your addicted? Has consumed your life to the point that you have put it above family, friends, work and school? Has it been the only thing you think about for the past year or more? If not, then you are like the rest of us normal individuals! Congratulations and keep up the good work! But if so, you need to seek some help.

"So sex can be an arousal mechanism today…a fantasy mechanism tonight…and it can cause depression tomorrow…and they’re interchangeable. You can see how complicated sex can be.
Remember everything associated with drug and alcohol use are indelibly etched in the amygdala section of the brain…so, depending on which drug is used, sex leads to arousal, fantasy or satiation-driven feelings and behaviors…and they’re interchangeable. Sex is truly complicated. It’s no wonder it’s part of such a powerful factor in relapse."

Yes, i assure you, you can.
i was watching this long, intricate show about nuero physics, it was crazy.
Check out this website about the nuerochemistry of addiction.
"Normal brain:
Experiencing a pleasurable event (e.g., orgasm) results in a large spike in the dopamine level in the brain... with a quick return to normal level after the event so the body is ready to enjoy another pleasurable event.
Addicted brain:
Set point is different — "thermostat" is reset. Baseline may be higher or lower than normal. When an individual with an addicted brain has his or her first drug high, the dopamine level rises even higher than during orgasm — the high is even more intense and lasts longer than orgasm…but the dopamine level doesn’t return to the normal baseline. It plunges to 0 — no dopamine – and stays there. We equate this state to being in QUICKSAND — and this is where addicted individuals lead their lives — in quicksand."
You can get much more information at this website:

Also, for a really cool chart about the neurotransmitters that mediate addiction and mental illness, go to:

You can be addicted to anything that gives you positive reinforcement if you have a weak enough will. People were addicted to watching Friends. There are documented cases of Ross and Monica withdrawl. I'm guessing Sex Masterbation and Porn are just given after that.

Yes, you can be. Take it from personal experience. I've been married almost six years and still continue to watch porn and yerk on my gerk(much to the dismay of my wife). Its an addiction I'll probably enjoy the rest of my life.

yes definitely, when your mind is constantly telling you you need something every minute, then you are addicted, but there is nothing to be ashamed of, its like a form of nymphomania.
