Perimeter is like finding the length of a fence around an area.

For example if the land area of a school is a rectangle of length 200 m and width 100 m,

The perimeter is, length + width + length + width,

200 + 100 + 200 + 100 = 600 m

or Perimeter is 2 x (L + W)
