But as for books, 'Zen in the Art of Archery' is awesome; LOTR is the best of fantasy; and nothing beats the Bible for all-around life-lessons on good living.

Your question is too simple and very broad and not worthy of an answer. you must fix categories. Exclude religious books because they were never written. Christ did not write Bible and so on. You should categories books with Fiction- Non-fiction - academic - Scientific - etc and then ask your question.
