I love that name...and I like your spelling idea. You could use about anything for a middle name with Michaela. I think Lyn is a nice name too!

The name sounds cool but I wouldn't go with the michaela spelling. Most readers look at the shape of the word and would read michael. Then there's typos etc... Also what does this teach your child about spelling? Michael-a is how Michaela should sound.... Granted most of the time the english language doesn't follow it's own rules.... I would stick with Lyn for the middle name. Just for fun you might want to look up the numerological significance of the name.... check my source.

I luv that name too, I like Makayla best just because Michaela looks like Michael with an A. Makayla Lyn, Elizabeth, Rae, Ja...I think my favorite is Makayla Rae. Or you could put both of your names together and see what you can make of that....My bf's in high school was Ceelyn from Carolyn Renee.

Michaela is actually the original spelling of the name, as it is the feminine form of the name Michael. So it's likely that only the truly dense would have problems pronouncing it, but you can spell it as creatively as you'd like. As for the middle name, I can only recommend that you might want to avoid the normal and overused middle names, like Ann, Lynn, Marie and Rae - and make it something that means something to you. Perhaps something old fashioned and feminine, to go with Michaela, which is a wonderfully old fashioned name. It would depend on her last name, of course - which sounds best altogether. But have fun with it, it's a huge responsibility!

I'm pretty sure Michaela is how the name was originally spelled...before people started adding the funkiness to it. If you like Michaela, go with it. Odds are, no matter how you spell it, someone is going to mispronounce it. And yeah, I think Lyn sounds nice with it.

It should be spelled Michaela. It is the correct spelling, and if people can't pronounce it, they need to take an English course. I, for one, am quite tired of the creative and ignorant ways that people have been spelling their poor children's names.
For a middle name: Marie; Alaine; Corinne; Rochelle; Denise. I think that a two-syllable middle name sounds prettier, but to each her/his own. But for heaven's sake, whatever name you choose, please spell them correctly. Good luck on your baby girl's healthy arrival!
