The unchained melody, by the righteous bros 1965 blue eyed soul. I was in Yokuska Japan, in the Naval hospital returning from Viet Nam. First night liberty, I was dancing with a beautiful Japanese bar girl when the juke box came on.It was The unchained Melody , Later Played in the movie Ghost. My thoughts went to my girl back home, and I wept. That song has been my favorite ever since.

Sometimes - Candlebox. It's a song that it really sounds like your hearing a story. Kevin Martin's voice is absolutely beautiful. It's a song I can listen to when I just want to cry in the rain.

I know it sounds emo but it's a beautiful song.

THERE IS SO MANY TO PICK FROM BUT HERE GOES.
1) HURT BY JOHNNY CASH & NINE INCH NAILS. WHEN JOHNNY CASH SANG IT WAS LIKE NO OTHER SONG HE'S SANG HE PUT SO MUCH FEELING INTO IT. AND YOU CAN TELL HE WAS'NT GONNA LAST LONG AFTER IT CAME OUT IN SONG & VIDEO.

2) WHEN I GET WHERE I'M GOING BY BRAD PAISLY. IT ITS ABOUT LIFE AND DEATH AND LOVE. IT'S JUST A GREAT SONG

3) WILL YOU GO WITH ME BY JOSH TURNER. IT'S ABOUT FOLLING YOUR ONE TRUE LOVE TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH AND BEYOND. IT REMINDS ME OF MY PARENTS WHO HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR 52YRS. AND IT'S A LOVE SONG. AND WHO DON'T LIKE A GOOD LOVE SONG.

4) AMERICAN SOLIDER BY TOBY KEITH. IT JUST A SONG THAT GET INTO YOUR HEART AND STAYS THERE FOR EVER. AND IT WAS PLAYED AT MY CUSIONS FUNERAL THAT LOST HIS LIFE 3YRS AGO IN FALLUGHA IRAQ FIGHTING THIS WAR AND I ALWAYS THINK OF HIM WHEN I HEAR IT. WE BOTH LIKED IT VERY MUCH BEFORE HE WAS SENT TO WAR. WE LISTENED TO IT ALL THE TIME.
THATS JUST A FEW THAT I LIKE I COULD NAME A WHOLE LOT MORE.AND I'M LIKE YOU I LISTEN TO IT 24/7/52

I have 2.

Grace by Jeff Buckley --> The music is just amazing (thanks to Gary Lucas) as well as the lyrics and vocals.

Satisfied Mind-- Covered by many artists (incl. Buckley) The whole song is about having no regrets or wants when its your time to go.

3X5 by John Mayer is my absolute favorite song - i dunno why - it's just such a nice little "get out there and see the world" kind of song. Then after that it's a toss-up " Groovy kinda love" by Phil Collins or "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel or "walking in memphis" by Mark Cohen - all three b/c i was very happy in my life when they came out and it reminds me of then "sigh" ...

changes every day...but for the past week it's been Queen - Who Wants to Live Forever...I like it beacause of the lyrics that mean a lot to me...like:
"What is this thing that builds our dreams yet slips away from us"
"This world has only one sweet moment set aside for us"
"But touch my tears with your lips
Touch my world with your fingertips
And we can have forever
And we can love forever"
Just beautiful...
Oups...sorry I got carried away...

"Don't Laugh at Me", by Mark Wills is my favorite. It's from his CD called "Wish You Were Here". I have a disability and can relate to it.
