If you've noticed, thanks to our rich protein diet, the onset of puberty has been occurring earlier than historically has been the case.

I believe that physical adolescence will continue to be much as it is today. Longevity will increase the length of adulthood, not childhood or adolescence.

Absolutely. Most men, never out grow adolescence & will continue to be childlike and self-absorbed.

I don't believe so. Adolesence actually occurs earlier (at least in females) due to superior nutrition and care.

I tend to agree with Terra T - indefinite adolescence.

I believe it will contribute. "As long as 'mommy and daddy' are still alive they will still take care of me" People aren't being forced to grow up anymore.

Interesting.
I have never really thought of it in these terms, but more interms of 'people had to grow up quicker in hard times'....which is just your question reversed, is it not?
This is worthy of further research.
