In the Krause Mishler standard catalog of world coins only one 1942 George VI Rupee is listed. It has the small second head type. It is KM# 557. It is made of 11.6600 of .500 silver. Actual silver weight is .1874 Mintage 244,500 or so. On world coins exact figures are usually not know or are rounded off. Looks like the 1942 was only minted with the small head. The 1943 has both large or small heads. I am not sure KM catalogs are available on line, but it is the bible of world coin collectors. All 5 volumes now.
