no talking about clothing requirements/a paddling never killed me so not talking about discipline/just different now

I don't think that I could survive in school with the work they're doing. My oldest daughter is in 3rd grade and she's been doing work that I did when I was in 5th grade and I couldn't understand half of it then. People think that kids have it easy in school - I disagree wholeheartedly!

I hated school when I was in it, so no, I don't think I'd survive with the new rules.

i would ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT now.
you guys have Microsoft WORD! with voice recognition!
I had an electric typewriter
plus, I would be a year older because they raised the starting age.

hmm.. well im goin into grade10 and socially from wat my aprents have told me it seems alot harder..a and academicly teh same.. my mom said teh math i was doin in grade 9 she was doin in garde 11.. so ya i think things just got harder in the past 20 years defently
