I installed the Realetk RTL8169/8110 Family Gigabit ethernet NIC, but it wont connect when I plug in my Ethernet Cord. Also, when i go to the device manager, there is a yellow exlamation point on the adapter sign next to the driver name. How can I fix the driver so i can run my internet through the ethernet cord and not the USB cord?

First make sure the card is compatible with your computer by checking the HCL(hardware compatibility list). You can find a list by going to www.google.com and typing in HCL for the name of your computer.
Put the software that came with the NIC card into the cd rom, then right-click on My Computer. Go to Properties, click on the Hardware Tab. Click Device Manager, then right-click on the name of your NIC card (the one that has the exclamation mark by it). Then click update driver. Chose Install from a specific location, click Next. Click Include this location in the search, make sure the drive letter of your cd-rom is in the box then click Next. It will then search for the best driver, it should automatically chose one for you, all you have to do is click to install. This should fix your problem.
