Be as relaxed as possible, and keep an open posture- don't cross your arms, etc., and maintain comfortable eye contact.

Be prepared to explain why you think you should be hired for the job. That question is asked a lot, in some form.

Don't talk too much or ramble, but don't give just yes or no answers either, unless that's all that's truly required to answer the questions appropriately. Whatever you do, don't interrupt the interviewer. Show you have a likable, respectful personality.

Be prepared to tell a little something about yourself, but again, don't ramble.

If you don't have previous experience with something don't try to act as if you do. Employers are quick to spot that and appreciate honesty. For many jobs, NOT having previous experience is seen as a plus. Willingness to learn and ambition are what they're looking for.

Dress appropriately.

I'm an employer and have interviewed a lot of applicants, so I hope this is helpful. I wish you the best!

do not rely so much on your resume. Its only a piece of paper. 80% of all hires in the interview process come from personal skills and instant approval.

So relax, dress nice and be yourself. Bosses want to hire confident people who are good under pressure.

Good handshake..not too firm ....NO JELLYFISH
Take a mint before you go in
Look him/her in the eyes when you are speaking with them

Interview them as well. Have some questions ready that are directed towards what you will be doing, the companies history, how long the interviewer has worked there.

Bring a notebook as well to jot stuff down

Turn off your cell phone

Relax and act like you already have the job....now you are just deciding if you want it.

The word “interview” itself makes a person tense and nervous who needs to appear in the interview. It is normal human behaviour to become confused or get tensed but such things can be overcome with practice, learning from seniors and elders, thru own experience. At my time internet was not available. These days Internet is a rich source of information. U can learn many things about the interview by visiting the websites the links of which are given below. On some websites u will find questions also along with answers which are frequently asked and questions pertaining to ur requirement can also be found there provided u surf on them thoroughly and consciously. It will improve ur performance remarkably. If will infuse a high level of confidence in u. It will make u more frank and it will develop diplomatic qualities in u too. Overall, I would say that it will give an impetus to ur personality development. Ur specific requirement can also be met on these sites provided these are surfed thoroughly and consciously.

Be confident. Wear a suit and tie. If they don't already have it, have your resume and any letters of recommendation you might have with you - be ready to offer additionan references if they ask for them (both business and personal). Have clean nails and shoes. Some of this might seem petty - but it DOES matter.
Before you leave (if they don't hire you on the spot) ASK when you might hear back from the (if they don't say). If you don't hear back from them by the time they say, follow up with them anyway, asking to speak to the person you had the interview with.

Good luck to you!

1. Dress appropriately (nice pair of pants maybe suit pants or khakis) and a nice shirt (like a polo or dress shirt). *Depending on where you have an interview*
2. Bring your resume just in case
3. Have confidence and try to answer any questions they ask
4. Have atleast one or two questions to show you're interested
5. Be prompt and on time, if not like 10 minutes early.
6. Have fun!

Have some questions ready for when they ask you "Now, do you ahve any questions for us?" Dead silence is a total turn off for the interviewer...

1. "How will my performance be assessed?"
2. "Are there any projects that I would have the opportunilty to be a part of if I were hired?"

Are good ones.
