I'm no dream expert, I have a hard time understanding mine. But since your dream is full of famous people and objects suggesting money, fame and luxury, I would say that it is based on your desires, your wish to become like those people even if you probably don't care about them too much. In the limo you had fun, and for a moment, it was good. But your fear for losing your personal stuff, might indicate the fear for losing your own lifestyle, or the fear for certain consequences related to this desired life of the rich and the famous. The fact that you actually lost everything is a rude awakening, the end to the dream. The limo rushed you back home, but that's it. You were left with emptiness.
Does anything make sense?
Dreams are not at all fake or "just dreams". They derive from the mind, yes, and their birth place is your well of wishes, ambitions, and ideas. So basically, they are a somehow twisted mirror of what you like. Unfortunately, they usually show the rotten side too.
Interesting dream, however. I hope the answer is ok, and if not, I hope someone else gives you a better one. See ya around.

These are not random people - they are all celebrities and you're probably very exposed to them from the television and magazines. Dreams are our brains organising all the thoughts and feelings we've had throughout the day and all the pictures and sounds and ideas that we've been exposed to. There are hundreds of thousands of these. The bit of your dream where you're worried you've been burgled is classic anxiety. It could be that something is worrying you (doesn't have to be big - we all have worries about something). But apart from that, I'd say that your dream doesn't mean anything in particular.
The thing to think about is what does the dream tell you? What would you like it to mean? That might be a clue to some of the things you really want in your life. Not a clue because you dreamt about them but because they're the sort of things that interest you now that you're awake.

It probably means nothing. It's your melon doing it's job.
Meet the brain. He's a scavenger and a prankster. When he combines his works, he makes a dream. However, don't take them personally.
Dreams are just a way a sensory seeking brain can get stimulation when your somatic sensory input is low. If not getting the sensory input it desires the brain will fabricate the input by retrieving parts of sensory memories (visual memories are most common, but it could be tactile memories such as pain). Many times the brain just steals input from any current collateral processing going on from your previous days activities (Oh, I dreamed repeatedly about those nasty things my boss said when he fired me yesterday).
The dreams themselves are meaningless, but from where the brain is stealing it's sensory input may indicate an ongoing dilemma.
The grey melon loves hijinx. He's such a trickster!

I am not aware of who most of those people are, but you referred to them as "random" people and that is important.
I would imagine that you might see Spain as being a romantic place, and a balcony could symbolize a high vantage point, meaning that maybe you are or were at a very good point in your life, where you could see what was happening around you and what it all meant.
Then, on a lark, you (without obvious regard for safety and without forthought), leapt off a balcony, perhaps tempted by things in your life that seemed good for the moment and those things made you temporarily forget about the important things, like locking your door, or in your real life, keeping yourself safe.
At some point, you realized that these people were "random" and pointless and that they were nothing but a distraction, and so you went back to the hotel (in your real life- you tried to go back to the way things were before), only to find everything ransacked or ,in real life, to find your mind, body, emotions, spirit violated somehow.
The trick is to find out what the real life distractions were and to realize that while they only looked good on the outside, they were shallow temporary distractions and that maybe if you get to a point in your real life where you must make a decision between shallow things and things with deeper meaning, your dream is urging you or warning you to go with what is real and long-lasting, rather than something that might look good but that will only be trouble for you.
good luck.

I think that it may be that you have lofty goals and aspirations which is a good thing. That is the symbolism of the balcony in Spain. But you are at risk of failing to achieve them because you are too caught up in frivolous matters and socializing (celebrities and drinking in the limo) Beware of false friends who want to take you for a ride.

Being with famous people, being rich, etc, normally relates to the desire to be successful or famous yourself.
Being burgled normally relates to a feeling of insecurity in yourself.
So perhaps you are doing something that's putting you in the spotlight a bit, and you are worried about what kind of effect that is going to have on your life generally.

It's interesting that your wondering about the people you've met and your consoling friend and not the possessions. Possibly the message is for the both of you to start focusing on the more meaningful relationships and honoring your friend, rather than on strangers and possessions. In fact, you know this to be true too.

You have a very materialistic view of the world. This is what happens when you watch TV. Perhaps your dream is a warning that you need to focus on more important things in your life. Perhaps you're waking life is a dream as well, and your dream within your waking dream is a message for you to wake up and take a look around.
