10^6 * 10^6 = 10^2*6 = 10 ^12

or a 1 with 12 zeros

Million = 10^6, so million squared = (10^6)^2 = 10^12 which means that it have 12 zeros

When you square an easy number with only zeroes you may only add the zeroes. A million has 6 zeroes, so its square has 12!

In America it has 12 zeros, in England, it has 18 zeros because of the different definitions of a million.
