Avenged Sevenfold, The Birthday Massacre, Unearth, Bleeding Through, Disturbed, From First To Last, In Flames, Hatebreed, Kittie, Korn, System Of A Down, Lacuna Coil, Silverstein, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Three Days Grace, Underoath, Between The Buried And Me, 10 Years, Otep, Ill Nino, Lamb Of God, Out Of Your Mouth, The Fall Of Troy.

Some of them are quite heavy.

Slayer's an amazing band, you might like them.

Killswitch Engage is pretty good. Umm Bayside's pretty deep i guess. Between The Burried And Me, Scars of Tommorow, Bury your Dead, those bands are hardcore but are very very good. Hope that helped.
AFI is a good band but i don't find them deep or dark.

i See alot of good suggestions up there i wanted to add, switchblade symphony, portishead, and drain sth (all girl band from canada,they are great) ,perhaps floater you'd probably like them too..i certainly do

None of those bands are 'goth' or 'emo'. The bands you listed are corporate teenybopper music. Sorry.

goth= just plain creepy

as you can see in the chart there is a big difference between emo and goth
