The party is splintered, fractured beyond repair. The have used demagoguery and pandering to every extremist group that that is all they are, a bunch of extremist, socialist groups.
America is moderate, period. They may agree at times with the extremists but do not want that in congress. Until the democrats can reorganize their party to more closely represent America it will continue to lose elections. They have to dump the extremists and go to the middle.
The really funny thing of all of this is that Dean, Pelosi and the other SOCIALISTS in power think they have gone to far to the right and are pushing hard to become more like communists. They are too stupid to understand why Reagan, Clinton and Bush II won, America perceived them as moderates.
The only places where socialists like Pelosi can win are in large cities where the population is being told they are victims or there are victims that need their help. Moderates are not victims and each paycheck they get they realize they have helped way too much already.

They are going to far to the left and people are afraid of where the DimocRATS are headed. In other words, they have no leadership and absolutely no clues or agendas.

According to some of the recent poll data that I have seen this trend may reverse when mid term elections come around in November.We will have to wait and see though.

Because they offer no real solutions, all they do is complain to give the illusion they have ideas but they have nothing of substance and US citizens have been able to see right through them.

Because in general, more people vote for republicans. The exception is for the presidency of the US. There, more people vote for electors in the Electoral College, who then vote for the president.
