The music that is on my ipod was put on there by a friend using another computer. so now i want to put that music on my computer but itunes wont let me.

There is a way to do it but itunes won't let you. My friend did it for me, try asking in the computers/internet section.

It's because Itunes will only let it be played by whatever computer it was purchase from. Whoever has the itunes account can allow up to 5 computers play the music, after trying a couple timnes to play the music on your computer i window should pop up if your friends doesn't mind having your computer be one of the 5 allowed to listen to it have him type in his ID and password then from then on you can play any music he buys from it.

The only way is to have the music put on your iPod using your computer. (If you like the music that much, you could consider purchasing it from the iTunes web site. It's cheaper than buying the CD in a store.)
