y = 2x + b

-3 = 2(1) + b

-3 = 2 + b

b = -5

slope = rise/run = y/x =2/1,

(x,y)= (1,-3)

x + 2y = (1) + 2(-3)= 1 + (-6) = -5

So the answer is : x + 2y = -5
