I was just curious, out of curiousity sake. What is the best advice you have been given or gave to someone? Something maybe that you will carry with you in life.

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company or a church or a home.
The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day. We cannot change our past: we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play the one string we have--and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you--we are in charge of our attitude.

THis may seem silly but....
1- always zip and buckle before flushing a public toilet. If the toilet malfuncitons you don't want to rush out with your pants unzipped/buckled
2- Never go in a bank when the armored car is making a delivery or pick up....

I have two things that have been SO true for me. The first is, if it sounds too good to be true,it probably is.The second is, that all the wisdom in the world can be summed up in five words..."There ain't no free lunch'.

Unfortunately, many of the answers on this site are in the mode of , "smart a##." Read the home pages of the people who give nasty answers...it's no wonder.
