People complaining on how google has a liberal bias, or yahoo has a liberal bias and have suggested that they be banned. There would be a lot of banning back and forth if this was allowed, I got a better idea, if it has a point of view you don't like, stay away from it, wouldn't that work better?

You would think. Then again, they seem to complain about how everything has a liberal bias.

That always amazes me... how an open forum that ANYBODY in the world with internet access can participate in is considered liberal bias.

Just another example of how republicans see equality and freedom of speech as liberal.

Everytime they are out-smarted and out-numbered, they scream no fair... liberal bias.

Under that definition, I am once again PROUD TO BE A LIBERAL and TRUE AMERICAN!!

To answer your actual question, no... one person can not change everything. One person can change a few things then another person a few things, so on and so on. It takes a group.

Also, I completely agree with your 'stay away from it if it is hostile towards you' idea. That is what I do on here. When I first started coming here, I would answer all the questions. Now I don't. Now, when I see a hostile question, I decide not to honor that person with my time. I wish more ppl would do that because all those ppl want is a fight. If they had nobody to fight with, they would probably leave.

Yes, that is why the corporations want to know every thing about you, and for most people not to have job security. They have also set up nation wide a corrupt mental health system to give out false diagnosis to any potential trouble makers.

Why do you think universities have now all gone to making their potential students write essays for their entry applications?

Its personality profiling to weed out those people from getting into careers with power and job security.

Even what we write here is going into a data base.

AMEN TO THAT!

CENSORSHIP IS UNAMERICAN. PERIOD.

If you don't like it don't subject yourself to it.

People spend all day complaining about Rush Limbaugh or the New York Times. Other than saying that you think they are biased, and trying to prove why, there's not much else you can do.

Debate the issues, don't censor them!

PS One person can do a lot to change the world. Look at Gandhi, or Martin Luther King.

No. Just like one person cannot start everything on their own cannot stop it either. But a singular person, especially a politician,
can act as a scapegoat and hence it looks like, yes, a person can change everything.

no one person can't change everything, but everyone together can. a great example is the free rider problem. and yes if you don't like a viewpoint respect the person giving it unless the viewpoint is threatening towards you in any way.

If you have good ideas and are inclusive instead of exclusive you can change anything.
