Closest to the Arch is the Adam's Mark. There is a Drury Inn across from Union Station and a Hampton Inn on Market St about 15 blocks away.
There is also a hotel at the Casino Queen across the river. Hop on the Metro Link, go one stop and you are in STL!

Get on Priceline and bid $45 for a hotel in downtown St. Louis you always get the Hilton at the Ballpark which is a short walk and a great hotel!!!
