I leave the past where it lies as long as my partner is free of sickness. It doesnt matter how many sex partners they have had. Hell, maybe he will be more experienced..."WOOHOOO"!!!!

Well I'm a female so not. I have never asked hubby how many over the years. I guess I figured we weren't together so it didn't matter. I know some he has cause I've known his since 5th grade. But I guess if I asked and he lied that would make me mad. If I was a man and a woman lied to me and I found out years later I would be TICKED OFF . I know that seems dumb but it would matter more to me if I was male and had been lied too. If that makes any sense...

Interesting question. I think it would definitely bother a guy; less so a girl.
I actually heard a piece on the radio about a new book that suggests women do exactly that. (I think it's called How To Think Like A Guy - or something along those lines.) Still, lying is lying in my book. Better to be vague... "A few. I'd rather not think about them now that I'm with you."

i would be hurt they didn't have the trust to tell me. what is the relationship based on? that is almost a most common question these days-people get checked for std's b4 they are intimate with a new mate.

I wouldn't be upset about the number, I would be hurt that he didn't just tell me the truth in the first place.
