If your talking UK it was 'Johnny Remember Me' by John Leyton in the charts for 3 weeks from 31 aug to 5 oct! made a comeback a week later for a week!

it was johnny remember me by john leyton it was number one from 31 aug to 28 sep 1961
and it was my mums birthday on the 15th september
