simple curiosity, if i've got a pool of blood, and put a match to it, will it flame up?

Interesting question, the answer is definately no.

But, if you were to dehydrate the blood (remove the water in the blood, which makes up nearly 75% of its mass), you would have a protein base that could be powderized and made into a fine dust that could explode just like a grain silo does if enough of the fine flour is stired up and a flame comes along.

dont think so, it's mostly wet water. Make sure it is blood before you put a flame to it, could be paraffin. What are you doing next to a pool of blood any way? am I going to see you on the news tomorrow?
