Somewhere along the line, someone or someones must have kicked you around. Was it family? Maybe too many give you the impression that you should be ashamed of yourself. Do you feel everybody is judging you? I know I do. That is a problem I am going over with my psycho-therapist. I stay away from my family, (brother and sister, I am unmarried and parents are dead.) It sounds naughty but it is the only way I can think of to reduce the paranoia. Maybe there are better ways. I don't know. But I think you and I need to look at people and believe that they care. They do. They don't when one is waring the dark glasses. But really they do. My psycho-therapist assured me that there is no reason to think otherwise. We also need to know that things aren't going to turn around overnight. But maybe week by week they will get better. I am truly feeling affection for you as is everyone else that has replied. Very best to you.

From experience , I found myself feeling a lot worse when I was on a certain type of medication, I would cry for no reason and felt like an automaton. Talk to your doctor to figure out if the medication is making your depression worse and which one is best for you. Don't despair, try to relax ,and everything will be better. Try to find something therapeutic that you enjoy, for me it was coloring and doing arts and crafts. Good luck and feel better.

Hi..
Without meds and doctors, the best natural way to fight depression is "meditation".... I do not mean to meditate about why the earth is round... or why the sky is blue, but to think about the "reasons", you are depressed.... . Medications never worked for my sister... The thing that really brought her out of it, was enough lazy time to really contemplate what ailed her.. and then to find solutions to those problems.... It isn't always easy to solve your life problems, and sometimes you have to take something less than what you want, but given enough time, trying to realize what it is that you "need".. can make a big difference without doctors and without medications.... !
Exersise can really help, when you exercise your brain releases serotonin....

I wish you, all the best! ;D
My regards!

you should not just medicate the problem. Medication can help you in the mean time, but you should go to counseling to learn how to cope with your stress. medication isn't always a life time solution.
Also, maybe you need to up your dose and/or change to a different medication. just because prozac works for one person, does not mean that welbutrin won't be better for YOU.
Talk to your doc! and get some therapy... to learn how to solve your problems, cope with stress, and minimize your anxiety.
you should also keep a journal and/or chart and mark on a scale of 1-10 in each column for depression, anxiety level, sleepiness or sleeplessness etc. keep a log and bring that with you to the doc, see if it coinsides with menstration etc.
some medications can also increase anxiety and depression, even though they are supposed to help cure it - so maybe this medicine is not good for your body.

by the way your avatar looks, you seem pretty hot, so why not start getting in some chat rooms and start making friends, who knows maybe you'll find a cutie somewhere in there....
I think depression is just a stage that we all go thru, specially girls, but it's nothing that a cutie guy can't fix...so relax and start enjoying your self, do some yoga, running etc. get out of where ever you're at right now and do something...I go to Target every time I get like that...even if I don't have any money I just go for walks in there and it relaxes me so much....try it...good luck

OK, lets break this down into 2 phases ok?
1)What are the causes that you know of thats causing the depression?
2)What kind of spiritual relationship do you have with God as you understand him?
Somewhere between these two items, is the truth- look for it closely and hard.

I don't know why you're depressed but I do have a simple solution
for dealing with stress-exercise. A good workout can do wonders
for stress relief, especially when the endorphins kick in.

Get OFF the Meds. That could be why it is worse. Stick to talking to a PSychologist and doing something you enjoy to get you feeling good about yourself, Life is too short to be depressed and not be thankful your given the gift of life.

Mayby your with the "loser" crowd who depresses you.IM suffering too my dear but i have an antidote. Its called Jesus Christ, and the bible. The bible says the wages of sin are death. So mayby you should drop some things you are doing and let em go.Having sex out of marriage is damaging and will definetly depress you.Sin will eat you up and spit you out.
