Sadly no, but if he's employed by the company (rather than the owner) the chances are he's in breach of your Equal Opps guidelines.
What an **** (him, not you, obviously).

Anyone can sue anyone for anything these days. In a country where you can sue a donut franchise when you spill their coffee
on yourself, there's no limit. The problem is it can take years and
lawyers are expensive. Instead of joining this rather pathetic trend
maybe you can deal with your boss in a more adult way and talk about the problem. If he's not receptive, and you don't have a bankroll of money, you can report him as has been suggested and/or simply quit.Your boss does sound like an idiot,so good luck
with whatever you decide.

Perhaps you can sue. Certainly if you are an asylum seeker or Chinese you have grounds for redress.
In any case he certainly is a nasty piece of work, considering that those workers were, in effect, murdered: by crass and greedy crew leaders, villainous mob bosses, Government officials who knew what was going on but chose to ignore it because their pals, contributors to the Labour Party, were profiting from it.

When serial killer Fred West murdered many young young girls in leicester Prince Andrew cracked a joke in public; "I could murder a tennant" there was a sigh of disapproval but he was not arrested.
Your boss's joke is inappropriate, offensive and and if you happen to be Chinese, insensitive.I dont think it's illegal.
Hopefully he will soon get tired of the jokes unless he tells it in a chinese takaway and get done with a meat cleaver!

Unfortunately you cannot sue him but you CAN report him. He's in violating of your equal rights policies and no one has the right to go around putting down another race. It's racism pure and simple to me. Doesn't matter what color a person is.. if you can't say something nice, keep the mouth shut!
Good luck! I hope you report him!

No its mandatory for (most) bosses, its almost a qulaification.
But you may have legitimate rederess if you work for a rich bank / company or possibly a government / semi governemnt organisation so you can sue for bullying or racial discrimination.
if you work for a 'normal' company then you are unlikely to find a shark / lawyer to take the case on your behalf.
