I just got a job in Culver City recently, and we're looking for a good Mexican restaurant to go for lunches. Of course, there's Tito's Tacos, but we're looking for a restaurant, not a taco stand. I just went to El Cholo recently and loved it, but it's too far away to make it there and back during a lunch break. Any suggestions?

There are good authentic Mexican restaurants in west Culver City, including Tacqueria Sanchez on INglewood south of Culver, and El Abajeno and Taco Miendo on Centinela between Washington and Culver. The food writer for LA Weekly has raved about Tacqueria Sanchez, and I particularly like El Abajeno. Haven't been there in awhile, I'll have to get back.

God, I work in this area as well, try Campos, in the shopping center where Target is, there is also one on Jefferson going west, just past centinela on the right hand side of the street. I like the one at Traget.

1st Campos is on Sepulveda
2nd Campos is on Jefferson
