NO lexmarks are trash.

The print quality is far below the industry standard.
The cartridges have a tendency to dry much faster than any other Brand and cost a small fortune to replace.

After about a year or two you will start to have odd little problems like your paper will stop feeding properly or the electronics in the printer will Fail all together.

i read all the above answers and i must say i have lexmark and for now i have had no problem at all. But the ink IS expensive that is true. I like it because it is a copy scanner and printer all in one and i thought it was a good one but if i would have read all this before i wouldn't have bought it to be honest and plus i didn't check the price on the ink refill so i wouldn't get another one.

I owned a Lexmark and I will never own another one. The ink cartridges are expensive. The tech support not only can't speak good English, but they also caused more damage to my printer. Horrible horrible tech support!

Lexmark is low end. HP is the standard for printers. Epson is ok but the ink tends to clog up. Stick with HP.
