We do already. Animals used for testing are kept warm and comfortable; they are fed well, given plenty to drink and regularly checked to make sure that they have not caught any diseases.
All this is necessary so that the test results are not influenced by factors such as disease, fear, malnutrition or mal-treatment.
Animals used for testing would not even be alive otherwise and their treatment up to the point when they are used for experimentation is far better than they would experience living wild. Furthermore, in the UK at least, the type and nature of the testing is strictly monitored and controlled so that no animal suffers unnecessarily.
To put it human terms - would you prefer a life of luxury followed by a few weeks of discomfort and death (as experienced by lab animals) or a lifetime of fear, disease and attacks by predators ending in being torn to bits by some carnivore (as experienced by most animals in the wild)?

How does animals pay for experiments? It doesn't make any sense. We pay for animals to be tested and not the other way around. But I'm with you 100% on animal testing for any sort.

That could be an interesting concept for an awfull practice. SInce the testing is in some cases unavoidable, goverments should force those who do it to at least contribute (a lot) to programs that protect animals and their habitats, and to a fund for the care of animals that survive the testing.

We should not test on Animals PERIOD. Is there not enough convicted murders, child molesters, and pedophiles we could be testing on?
When was the last time you read a headline that said "Serial Tabby Rapist Captured After 6 Hour Standoff?"

sure, of course. God gave guy dominion over the animals. Animals are no longer equivalent to human beings. eating meat isn't homicide, neither is eating diary robbery (you won't have the capacity to thieve what you have dominion over). Animal cruelty is a various difficulty. Animals should not be cruelly abused, yet that's no longer the comparable as animal rights. Nowhere interior the Bible does God supply animals equivalent rights with human beings.

em..what do aniamls want with money. money is a human concept. I support animal testing to a certain extent as a scientist. I rather know that a pharmaceutical drug will do to a rabbit or rat before giving it to a human. It makes sense really.

I agree, maybe we could send the ones being tested to a resort or something...I mean if everything goes well with the test. Or we could just test on you ...
