As little as possible. Ideally, a woman would not apply makeup or almost as good, only cover over blemishes.

MAC Cosmetics definately.
also the Sephora Collection is really nice as well.
The best eye liner out there is: AVON ultra luxury liner in black. it does not budge even in water. you literally have to scrub your face to get it off. now thats an awesome liner lol.

I like the mineral make ups. They are expensive but look great and last much longer than drugstore brands.
