I agree with Slayer, they were the cause for all the other hardcore bands like them like Thine Eyes Bleed and Through The Eyes of The Dead. Yup Slayer started it all.

The Straight Edge movement started hardcore.

Hardcore today is just a word... it means whatever you want it to.

Minor Threat if any band started it, not Slayer.
