my husband is Hindu. He speaks English and Hindi. Hindi is the language, Hindu is the religion...

Hindu is a religion in India and there are many different variations on the religion.

My mother in law is Punjabi (sp) which is some form of Hinduism from what I understand. His father is from the Brahman caste, which is a family of preists. My husband, however, is an atheist, which does not make his mom or his grandma happy... LOL. Anyway, the caste system no longer exists legally in India, but it is still "there" if you know what I mean...

does that answer your question?

One who believes in God Rama and Krishna. The one who follow Bhagwadh Gita the Epic which tells or makes us understand such a lot of things in simple Good always win over Evil. You certainly find Hindus all over the world the main place for them is ofcourse India.

Someone who follows, adheres, belongs or believes in Hinduism -the religion-. Sometimes people make the mistake of calling people and things from India hindu, but that is incorrect, since there are many religions there, and this is an indicative of religion.
