Micro and macro versions of whatever visual entity (ie theme) you wish, drawn only after you've looked and seen. I suggest don't guess or imagine - look at it, see it, to draw it. And reach for your camera as well as your pencil, so to catch fleeting imagery. Inspirational themes? Anything you can see should inspire. Of course you're not stumped, silly - open your eyes and have a looksee. Read about Raphael, Kandinsky, Picasso, Lowry ...

For a week, or a little less if you want, write down any dreams you remember having from the nights before and try to remember what people say to you in them if there is any. Also, listen to what you say to people. Are there any phrases or words that you say alot or ask others what they say you say alot and use that? Hope this helps and good luck with the project?

Having seen the photos in one of the Sunday magazines of children crying when the photographer took their sweets, maybe you could do something opposite. I think childrens laughter is the most beautiful thing in the world. I could imagine that it could be represented in ways that aren't just straight drawings of a child laughing

I'd love to see some pertinent art, if you know what I mean. Studies of nurses in hospital, mechanics. As they used to do in the old days but you see no longer.
