Only if you're horny, . . though more often, its the need for the company of another that has to be fulfilled in some way. If you're fortunate to have the company of someone of the same species sometimes the tenderness of affection will lead to more physical attention, and as it is with just about everyone else, . . . one thing often leads to another.
Though some of us, really aren't as into sex, as it is with almost everybody else. There are some people who simply enjoy cuddling and being there for each other, without the desire for sex. The solace of the company of a friend you hold most dear to your heart. Is more valuable to some of us, than just using each other to fulfill carnal desires.

Sex brings out the animal instincts in some people especially those whom dont use their heads and think about it first. Its usually the mystery of the unknown that is the main attraction really, and perhaps the thought of power and conquest for some people.
