Big difference between a back handspring and a back walkover. Got a freind who has a trampoline? Learn on there first so you understand the dynamics. Because you have to be able to do a backbend quickly enough to prople your legs over your body like a spring thus the term Handspring. It is a lot of stomache muscles too. Try do a backbend and stop before bringing your legs over. Now with one strong push with your legs jump pulling your knees toward your head. You can also get one of those giant pilate balls and lay on in with your back and practice bringing your legs over together. Be careful and good luck and never do this without a spotter.

I would suggest some work with you as a spotter until you get the hang of it. You don't want to break your neck.

Use the groin Muscles and upper thigh muscles, that way you will be more controlled and not throw yourself off balance.
