Make sure when you put the songs on your mp3 player you didnt put them on as your external device. Make sure you uploaded them to the mp3 player side of the player. What I mean is that most players will allow you to use the player as external memory. Lets talk about a harddrive player for instance, a iPod or something. You can use the iPod two ways. As a external harddrive for your computer and as a mp3 player. If you have songs stored on your harddrive as a external device then the mp3 player wont noitce them and they wont play. You must have your songs uploaded on the mp3 side. You must be doin something wrong with your player or the program you use to upload songs on. When using the upload manager to put songs on your player, make sure you can see the playlists or if you cant simply create one on the mp3 player itself and reconnect it to see if you can see it. once you see it jsut drag your songs in there.

Your music might be in a folder or in the wrong file type. My mp3 won't play songs in WMA format. Try getting a program to convert them, google works for that.
