I have blocked fallopian tubes, and they say even if they were cleared then they can't fix the fimbriae hairlike fingers and the cilia...Please help, I want a baby so bad.
I have already done 3 i.v.f. with 3 negatives..I am tired of this..all they say is my tubes are blocked and the fimbriae are damaged....do I have any hope?

No. They cannot be repaired. On the plus side, you will still be able to get pregnant without them. I'm going to guess that your problem is damage from endometriosis. A surgeon can cross-cut the tips of your blocked tubes and stitch the four corners back on the tube to keep the ends opened. I've seen women in their thirties and forties have very healthy children (meaning more than one child) after such surgery. There's PLENTY of hope! Best of luck!!!

I'm sorry but to my knowledge this is not something that can be repaired surgically. However, I encourage you to get a second and even third opinion. In the meantime, consider adoption or, if you have a partner, surrogation. The only other thing I can come up with is IVF but you state that this has been done 3 times. It seems to me that if you are able to ovulate (I'm assuming that your ovaries are intact and functioning as you haven't said otherwise) an ovum can be extracted, fertilized invitro and implanted in your uterus. Did you leave out any info?

i don't think you can change the condition of your fallopian tubes, but if you really want a baby continue I.V.F, it is a logical way to make you pregnant, but it is like a football game; all attempts will not result in goals, but you should continue trying; although I know it is hard to repeat ovulation induction cycles and other procedures... don't lose your hope dear,
