yea it works, i was on it for 4 years, but then in november, the news showed that young women in there teens and twenties were dying from it because it forms blood clots in your brain, lungs, legs, the patch puts 60% more estrogen into your body then the pill does because it goes directly into your bloodstream, with the pill you digest it first,
its very dangerous, so i ripped it right off! now i get the depo and love it! but i will have to change to something else in 2 years because you can only use it for that long, hopefully they'll change the dosage in the patch by then!

Yes. However, it was a pain when I did it. It comes off easily if you are very active. I work out a lot and shower daily. So, it was always coming off. Plus, it starts to make the skin really sticky where you put it and discolored. Additionally, I just saw a TV ad that said that it has now been attributed to giving some people strokes and heart attacks. It has pending litigation. I would recommend the pill - especially Ovcon35. It is the only pill that didn't make me irritable, did not make me gain weight, stopped my cramps, and made my periods very short and light. Plus, I have not gotten pregnant while on it (about a year).

I was on it for a while. It worked, not pregnant. But it has increased chance of a blood clot and bad side effects than the pill. But it also gets itchy and i was paranoid of it falling off. I switched to the NuvaRing which is way better. Its only 1 time a month instead of 3 times. Its a plastic ring you insert like an ob tampon (no applicator) and you leave it in for 3 weeks than you get your period.
