Mr. Jay R just posted one of my ratings on a questions, now I ask everyone...Is there anything wrong with an Italian having a French friend??
YES I AM 100% ITALIAN AND I SUPPORT MY COUNTRY AND TEAM WITHOUT A DOUBT AND ALWAYS WILL
BUT I'M NOT A RACIST AND NEVER WILL BE.
THIS SHOULD BE AN EXAMPLE FOR EVERYONE TO FOLLOW!
SO DON'T YOU PEOPLE JUDGE ME BECAUSE I HAVE A FRENCH FRIEND!

Hello Juventina,
There is absolutely nothing wrong with you or anyone else on the forum being friends with Touzours or anyone else from any nationality. Having friends of different nationalities has nothing to do with the love and passion one has for their motherland. Sometimes people interpret responses to suit themselves or their own points of views and are not in the mind of the respondent when they answer their questions and therefore can never really know what is meant by them. Juve, anyone who has been a long time participant in the forum knows your love and passion for Italy, so I would not be too worried about the judgements of those who are perhaps a little short sighted. You should not feel that you need to justify the friendships you have made with people on the forum.

Oh there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a french friend, the world cup should never affect relationships, its friends first then ur passion of football.
When I used to live in France, I grew up with my best friend, Paola, she was born in France but is originated from Italy, and often used to go there to see her grand parents while I look aftered her dog Izota. She is a great friend, but now we dont see each other because I am now in England, she dosnt have internet and cant call me, so we write letters to each other. I still have no idea who she supported for the final but oh well, she is Italian and I love her a lot!!! :)

No of course not! Why should you give up your friends just because of a few sad people in this forum.
Your friends will be with you for life unlike a bunch of strangers on these pages whom you will probably never meet.
By the way I'm glad you clarified your rating to one of your questions (the one Jay R posted) because I was confused as well!

Hi, Juventina!
What shocked me was this: "The rest you can stick in up
you ***!" If you don't care about people's feedback, why do you bother to post your questions?
There is nothing wrong with being friends with whomever, but I do think that it is wrong to play with peoples' minds!
I'M SORRY, BUT IT'S NOT NICE TO DO THAT!
=======================================
Yes! That was a direct response to her. At first, it seemed like you were talking about the respondents. My apology to you!
Viva Italia!
========================================
One more comment. I just thought of it. Maybe it's not a good idea to post heated questions about someone you like and admire!

Friendship knows no boundries. So what if your Italian? So am I, and I have many friends of different colors and national heritages. My wife is SWEDISH for crying out loud. My best friend is African-American. My first fiance was Indian (not Native American). The best man at my 1st wedding was Jewish. So who the F cares where people are from or what they look like?

Listen to yourself and everyone else on here, everyone sounds like a damn child. Is most or all of us suppose to be adults on here? Yeah, I know I have had my quarrels on here to with the French, but you know what when you take a step back and ya see how stupid everyone is acting it makes ya think twice. No it is not wrong to have a French person as a friend, cause everyone has their own way of thinking, and as much as peoples oppions get on our nerves shouldn't we just ignore it and go about our business? I have a friend as a matter a fact who is French and he does live in France, now I haven't talked to him in a while, but we talk for a long time when we do have the time to chat. He knows what team I support and he respects that. Some people I think just have to much time on their hands and need to step back from the computer.

Ok, football I know is quite a big thing in Europe. But descriminationg against countries is BS.. it's just as bad as Osama saying he killed people for his religion. Makes any sense? So support your country and keep your french friend REGARDLESS of what people say. It's YOUR life. Be happy for what you do and who your have to enrich it. Don't pay any mind to peopel who try to make it hard.

I have an Italian brother-in-law with two kids ( my sister is his wife) and I love them to death. We communicate in French and English, unfortunately Italian is not a language that I had to learn growing up.
I wouldn't be surprised that touzours was cracking up when he read your question about him because it came from you and he knows you.

Of course not! It's called open-mindedness... when you have friends from other cultures, you get to learn more about people who are different than yourself, and you are actually accepting your differences. If you limit your circle to only people of your own race, you aren't going to have a lot of friends in the end.
