sadly with some deep sleepers nothing works. my ex is a prime example of an EXTREMELY deep sleeper. Unfortunately I tried everything I could to wake him up one time & NOTHING worked. Me, his roommate & the roommate's daughter were all jumping on his bed, we yelled, we slapped & punched him, we tried tickling him, me & the roommate played w/ his ear & back of his neck (turn on spots hehe), tried loud music, called his phone w/ it near his head, tried his alarm clock (couldn't figure it out), yelled & pretended that something happened to his car (his pride & joy), turned on every light in his room, took away his pillows & blankets, & even dumped an entire glass of ice cold water on his face. NONE of that worked! If there's ever a fire in that house then everyone is going to have to literally drag him out cause you can't wake him up. Try any of the stuff I did.......maybe you'll have some results with at least one! LOL! Good Luck!

My daughter is a deep sleeper and I find it easier to wake her with a whisper then a loud tone.

My bf is exactly the same, the only way i get him up from a deep sleep is sex! but i used to have a no nonsense approach, i'd open the curtains, and jump on the bed until he got up!

I use to use water on my sister, but I wouldn't throw it on her. Instead I would get a glass of water and when you get to the bed put a little in your hand and drip it on them. That really bothers them more than throwing the hole glass and they aren't socked after it. So they don't get as mad.

What you do is pull the pillow out from under their head very fast. Works 75% of the time.

1) put the alarm right next to person's ear
2) tell person you're throwing [enter valuable/prized object] away
3) take away their blanket/cover
4) pull them up and make them stay standing
