This doesn't apply to all rich people. For the tip thing, this is personal preference, he is just cheap and doesn't appreciate the working person at the cafe. For the movie and game, why are you being so cheap? Just because people have money doesn't mean they should pay for you all the time. You should go half or pay for parking and what not. I mean he did buy the ticket for you right? My point is, you either split stuff or take turns paying if it is your friends. You don't mind paying half with your poor friends right? It shouldn't matter how much they make just like it shouldn't matter what color they are etc. If they are your friends then that is all that matters.

"My buddies that make next to nothing would give me the shirt off their backs if they thought I needed it and no way they'd ever ask me to pay that stuff."
And what if one of them struck it rich, suddenly? Won the lottery, maybe. Would you think of him as your buddy, same as always? If you struck it rich, would you still be "part of the crowd" you are hanging out with?
You have to be clear about that first. It is easy to find fault with a class of people with whom "aren't your crowd." Just ask anyone who can't be hired because of competition from illegal immigrants.
The rich only stay rich if they are smart and frugal with their money. It's not getting the money that's the trick; it's keeping it.
They guy you wrote about who never tips, does sound like a jerk. Money does have a way of amplifying character faults, like greed. To want money is to want the problems of having it, and its moral impact is one of those problems.
But there is more than one way to view the guys who expect you to split the bill. In the lingo of money, that is a sign of respect. It means they don't see you as dependent on them.

So, based on personal knowledge of a 'few' millionaires, you have drawn the conclusion that all rich people are greedy? You do know the definition of 'prejudice' don't you? You are prejudiced.

Because greed is how they got rich and it doesn't stop. They watch their money better than people who are not rich.
