I'm having a 14th Birthday Party. We're getting a suite probably at a nice hotel in Los Angeles. My birthday is in January, so what should I do during the party?

Hopefully the hotel has a pool. You guys can swim in the hotel pool and order movies in the room (providing you have parental permission). Stay up late, call boys, do makeovers in the hotel room, bring your camera and take "glamour shots".

Have games ready to introduce in between dancing and all the other stuff 14 years olds do at parties.
A good one I use is called the parcel game.
YOU NEED:
2 dice
10 presents all wrapped some better than others and one with a huge bow on.
The presents can be silly things like a loo roll, a keyring, can of tuna, but because they are all wrapped it does not matter.
The presents all go in the middle and you start taking it in turns to throw the dice, when someone throws a 6 they take a present. The next one can steal their present or take a new one, soon all the presents are gone and then the fun starts, people take presents from others. The one with the big bow is always the favorite and has the worst and cheapest present inside. It starts people snatching and leaning over and really breaks the ice. When all the presents have left the middle set 5 minutes on your fone or on the clock and have countdown, after that people open their pressies! If someone has not got one tough, they will soon be laughing when someone opens a can of tuna!!
You can also wrap up things they have to then wear like false teeth or Bridget Jones knickers! It is a good cheap and fun game.

Why in the world are you having a birthday party in a hotel??? What is up with that??? What is wrong with going to the zoo or to Knott's Berry Farm??? Chucky E. Cheese??? No 14-17 year old child should have a birthday party at a hotel. It is just dumb!

ask around, the people who you know for sure are going to be there, start asking around find out what they all would like to do......take the best and most popular answers (of course no sex drugs or alcohol) and see what you can come up with.
