Yes , "Oh Dr. Beeching" I am glad you did not refer to it as a comedy programme, a terrible thing. The BBC comes out with such wonderful programmes, e.g. David Attenborough's "Life on Earth" etc. and "Earth Story" , then at times it comes out with such trash as that was.

it was oh doctor beeching-terrible really!!!altho dr beeching was the guy who was responsible for the big shake up of the rail system back in the day that made it the envy of the world-where is doctor beeching when you need him now eh?

It was tawdry awful sh*te.
With the possible exception of Dad's Army I try to avoid any sitcom that has the end subtitle "You Have Been Watching"
