When I opened Outlook today the BT email account connection was missing. I accessed my BT email through BT-Yahoo. I do not know what to type into Outlook account to connect to my BT email account.

If you still have access to the Internet go to BT's website and see if the have a problem solving page that will tell you the pop & smtp settings. You will also need your user name and password.
Cheers.

Hi...

Let me educate you on this matter. (I work for BT on IT Technical Help).

First of all, go to your CONTROL PANEL > ADD / REMOVE PROGRAMS, and select the BT section > click on REMOVE!

A small window will appear with a bunch of check-boxes. Check what you really want to, but my suggestion is this:
REMOVE THE BT YAHOO BROWSER.

When you installed Windows, a browser was there for you - but when you installed the BT DISK - it basically fuc*ed up the way you see a browser. The truth is, at this point, that the BT Browser has taken over. To get rid of it, do as I suggest above.

If you would like to continue with the Microsoft version of a browser, well...that's fine. I can suggest another (totally better browser) called MOZILLA.

GET IT HERE AND TRY FOR FREE - NEVER ANY CHARGES!

They are totally commited to the customer here. Free EMAIL client too!

TRY PLEASE - EASY UNINSTALL IF YOU DONT LIKE....

WORD OF ADVICE! WHY DO YOU NEED AN OLD PROGRAM LIKE OUTLOOK OR EXPRESS FOR EMAIL? THIS BEGGARS BELIEF IN THE AGE OF HIGH-SPEED INTERNET.

DO NOT USE IT. GO DIRECTLY TO YOUR WEB-BASED MAIL SERVER TO ACCESS YOUR EMAIL.

MS OUTLOOK AND EXPRESS are nothing more than problem tools designed to create hassle for the user. Believe me - it was used in the dial-up days to basically ...logon - grab mail ....logoff!

Tell me how you feeel about my answer....
